Yana was the model for the premier Kingfisher's calendar in 2005. She has performed dance numbers in many films. However the remix of babuji zara dheere chalo, brought her name and fame. Before comming to India, she had modeled for Calvin Klein and Victoria's Secret. She drew much attention in Europe.
Her recent appearances have been in Tamil film cameo item numbers.She was awarded the new face of the year for Lakme cosmetics in 2001. Apart from Czech, she can also speak Spanish, Japanese, English and some Hindi.
